Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperLanding page add-on is definitely on the list 🙂

Can you put up a list of addons you’re currently working on and a progress of each in the form of percent. Example, landing page 50% complete. Also can you include away to delete add on that we don’t want to use? Like how wordpress does with install plugins and theme.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Tom,
Currently, Menu Extended is at 95%.
Featured Widgets is at about 40%.
Landing Page is at about 20%.
You can deactivate add-ons in “Appearance > GeneratePress” – deactivating them stops them from running at all, so they won’t take up any resources 🙂

Cool, thanks. I saw somewhere on the forum, someone ask if you would make your column plugin more of a page builder. Any plans for that?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperNot top priority as it’s a free plugin – but anything can happen.

Ok, well how about a stand alone paid plugin. I like your code. It’s clean and not bulky. Most of the page builders out don’t come close to your standards.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThanks! Appreciate that 🙂
May happen one day, but Page Builder plugins are pretty bulky by design, I’m not a huge fan of them.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYes they are – all new add-ons are adding to GP Premium as they come out. There’s no annual fees or anything. May change in the future, but if you buy them before that changes you’ll have them for life with no fees.
Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

How do I unsubscribe from this topic?
July 28, 2015 at 6:35 pm #124466Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThe little checkbox above where you hit Submit when you reply to the topic should do it.

Tried to unsubscribe but it wouldn’t accept it without a comment. I think you can delete this entry now!

I’m also trying to unsubscribe! It would be helpful to have a one-click unsubscribe link in the notification emails…

How about some additional navigation/logo positions?
So logo top left, navigation top right, no background, sticky not sticky, with background, and so on…
Hero section below logo/navigation to be full height and responsive, with ability to add in the big hero video backgrounds, text over the top – this is kind of on trend at the moment.
Megamenus, for sure.
I’d personally like to be able to brand the admin panel as standard, brand the login page. That’s all run by plugins at the moment.
Obviously as I have said in my review though Tom the reason I love GP so much is because it isn’t filled with all the bells and whistles, it’s lightweight, responsive. To achieve many customisations that people are asking for you could just let them install those plugins. I use page builder for example to achieve better page layouts. It works well.
Don’t go getting bogged down by adding in loads of stuff… keep them as add-on’s 🙂
