I’ve never tried it, but maybe this plugin will work? https://wordpress.org/plugins/magic-liquidizer-responsive-table/

I have used it. It was the best one I tested.

Ready to use page templates for different niches. This can be included in landing page ad don too. I am a big fan of this wp theme for example: http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme

Our next add-on is really awesome..

    * Sticky navigation/header
    * Allow pages to be stacked on the front page for “single page” navigation style. (http://ironsummitmedia.github.io/startbootstrap-freelancer/)

Those addons would make a great theme including addons, even greater! πŸ™‚

I love GeneratePress. My future addon idea would be to add an option for a slider in the page header. The slider can be both image and/or text.

It could definitely happen, but it might be a bit bloaty? There’s a lot of slideshow plugins out there that have dedicated developers focusing on them.

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for the really nice clean theme with great controls. I have the add-ons as well and would like give TWO THUMBS UP to all of the listed possibilities in your “Future Addon Ideas”.

At this moment, I am searching for a convenient landing page solution so I could have used one of your listed Future Add-Ons today!

    Best wishes –

    Tom,

I’d really like to see a landing page add-on. I am currently disabling elements to achieve this, but then have to add custom CSS to each and every page to control the margins, etc. An add-on to handle container width/margins, colors, background images, etc would be super awesome. I see you posted this idea last fall… any idea of when it will be available?

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Definitely planned.

I don’t like rushing things, so this will probably come after Sections which is due out very soon.

Not sure on a timetable yet, but it is in the plans πŸ™‚

My two cents – The shortcodes / page builder add-ons are great ideas but shouldn’t require GeneratePress and should work without it to avoid “theme lock-in”. Even if they are implemented as a plugin, having GeneratePress dependencies will produce the same or similar result.

If you want an example, all you have to do it look at Divi by ElegantThemes to know why you’d never want to create something like this. It looks good, works well but once you begin using it, you’re stuck with it. Your content is now hostage your chosen theme even if it’s a beautiful abomination.

Some of these ideas have been said already but I’d love to see:

    Buttons with rollover effects
There’s some fairly cool plugins out there but they seem over-priced.

    Full page background slider
100% width and height rather than set pixels. And ideally with the ability to set different image sets to different pages.

    Borders
As you said in your first post.

Will add more ideas as I think about them πŸ™‚
