Looks great! :)

Hello Tom,

Another work made with your piece of art: http://www.theoriestation.nl/

There is something wrong though with the site. When i do a speed test with https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ i got a 25/32 score. That was even after i used autoptimize plugin. Before that it was 20/30. I never saw it so low. But when i surf on the site itself, it doesn't seem that slow.

Do you know whats going on behind the screen.

Am sorry this is a site showcase and support in one lol

Thanks in advance

Thanks, yeah i like it too:)

So you say nothing is wrong? When i use pingdom, the first load takes 3 seconds, then the second one and the others after (cause of caching) stay below the second, so that is quite good i say.

I followed your steps for optimizing speed. Only the async plugin gave me errors, so deleted it. There are also few new options in that plugin i think, compared to the printscreen of yours.

Thanks:)

No problem! If you need more help with the speed stuff feel free to open a new topic :)

Hi Karim,

your site looks really good!

But when I look at the listed issues at PageSpeed Insights, I honestly understand why your score is relatively low. Don't get me wrong but I have never seen so much scroll bars, especially related to JavaScript. ;-) Tons of scripts are loaded seperately. But that's the other side of extensively extending a websites function.

When it works fine, don't take the PSI results too important.

Keep up your good work.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the compliment and the feedback.

I am not that much into coding, but i understand what you mean. Am also not sure what happened yesterday, but suddenly my site performed much better. The first load takes a couple seconds, but after that each new page opens in a blink of an eye.

I used a optimize plugin for the javascript now. Do you see any improvements? And what you mean with "much scroll bars"

Am always happy to learn if you dont mind:)

Thanks.

Here is the website i made for my mother. She is an artist. It is a minimalistic portfolio website. I used GP premuim + Elementor + The Grid.

esviart.com

But Elementor throws this error sometimes:
"Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page."

I usually happens when i try to edit the home page. Any idea?

Cheers!

Nice site! Love the minimalism.

Not sure about the error, your home page is a regular page, so the_content() is definitely in use.

Very nice sites! Thanks to both of you for sharing :)

@Karim:

The sites loads fast for me. There is no problem.

I tested your site again and it gets worse compared to yesterdays testing. Mobile 24, Desktop 31.

For image optimization you maybe test "WP Smush". You should find a plugin which condenses your JavaScripts, too.

I guess, you are from the Netherlands. You should try "Cachify". Maybe you will get better results than your actual used plugin.

There are some more things do. But you should start at that points first.
