Hi Karim,
Nice site!
On my iPhone 5 the phone number is behind the cart.. and, but that will be done in the future I think, but the text of the iPhone in the webshop ๐
Could you tell me how to manage the shopping cart plugin being shown in the top menu on mobile? I would like that too, but I only get the responsive menu. See this site: link

Hello Pieter,
Alles goed meneer? ๐
I saw yeah, only on smaller screens you see number behind menucart. Thanks for mentioning it:)As for the menucart being shown in the top menu:
You already have the menucart in the topbar, so that is good. The only thing you need to do extra is use a trick shared by Tom, to make the topmenu standard already folded open on mobile. It’s very easy. Here it is explained how to do it:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/secondary-navigation-on-mobile-question/page/2/#post-222217In your case there will be too much info to make them outline in one line same as on my site. I’d suggest you use css to hide this line on smaller screens “vragen of bestellen bel ons op………”
Then you see the : “jouw account” link and “menucart” beautifully in one line:) In case you see “jouw account” behind menucart, you can delete the “jouw” in “jouw account” :p
Succes meneer;)
If you wanna know more, let me know.

Hi Karim, nice job! I was a bit surprised to see the formal Dutch language, though. Telecom businesses usually communicate in informal Dutch (for English readers: there is a real difference between the two). Now the texts are a bit “afstandelijk” (I don’t know the proper English word). Is this something you have a say in, or are the texts written by your client?

Hi @Karim,
Great website.
It’s a great website on so many levels.
Quick question.
How did you get the search like that in the main nav bar?December 1, 2016 at 7:31 am #250219Karim
@ Tom: Dont get mad at me captain. This is my last reply, otherwise your showcase messed up.
@Jurgen: Thanks and yeah, customer text.
@Mosche: Thanks too, appreciate it:)
Adding the search bar in navigation is easy.
Download this plugin: https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-in-menus/After you downloaded it, follow the screenshots that you can find here: https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-in-menus/screenshots/
Now you are able to put a shortcode in your menu.
Then download this plugin(or any other that does the job) : https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-search-for-woocommerce/
Use the shortcode ( [wcas-search-form] ) from the plugin, make a new menu-item with the “shortcode” field, insert the shortcode and voila, there you see it:)
I had to add some css to position the searchbar perfectly in the middle. Very easy.I’d recommend the Ajax search plugin, since it is so easy to use and it also shows pictures of the proucts when people type in text. If it is not for a webshop, i think it’s best find another searchbar plugin.

My static HTML, non-responsive portfolio site was in desperate need of a redesign, so I figured why not future-proof it by using GeneratePress as the base ๐
