Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAwesome! Allow up to 6 hours for the translation pack to be created by WordPress.org, then everything on your site should be translated π
Thank you!

Hi Tom
Unfortunately the “read more” is still not translating at http://www.ucuzhavuz.com/. I have waited a few days to be sure there were no cached copies being loaded, but it seems the problem is somewhere in my site.
The account I sent you is still active.
Thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou have a custom function in “Appearance > Editor > Theme Functions” at the bottom where “Read More” is defined in English.
Changing that should fix it π

Hi, Tom
I made some translations and some corrections. I guess they are awaiting approval. (I’m not certain how it works.)
Once I know that the suggestions are approved, I’ll go through it again.
Regards,
PierreMarch 26, 2016 at 11:16 am #181889Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYes, I have to request that users become editors to approve translations.
If you let me know your username I can request that you become an editor.
The French editors are a little more picky than others and will require you to join a Slack discussion before approving you.
Let me know if you’re interested or not π

French are ALWAYS more picky. My username is “petitbateau54”. However, since there seems to be quite a few editors, is it useful to add me?
However, I did find some expressions that had been approved but were faulty.
Your choice,
PierreMarch 26, 2016 at 11:47 am #181916Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThere’s actually only one pending editor for GeneratePress, so having more is always good!
The general editors can take months to approve translations for themes like GP.
I’ve request you become an editor for GP, they will most likely say something like this now:
Hi, @petitbateau54 can you please get in touch on the French Slack #traductions channel http://boiteaweb.fr/slack-invitation or via email, we have a few recommendations before giving PTEβs access, and suggest translations first.
Please keep in mind the French Glossary when checking translations also. I added it to the project.
For more infos check out our post: https://fr.wordpress.org/2015/12/18/how-french-community-handles-pte-requests/
Thanks! Let me know if you need anything π

Hi Tom
Just a quick query. I have updated another site http://www.tepekent.net/ and the theme texts are all in English. I have confirmed that there are no .mo or .po files in the theme folder, I have cleared the server cache and my browser cache.
What is the “normal” delay for the site to fetch the translations from WordPress.org?
Thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperNow that the language pack is created on WordPress.org it should be instant.
Make sure that site is using the latest version of GeneratePress.
