You’ve been such a great help – I’d love to have you showcase my site! I’ve customized quite a bit but I’m sure to do some more….

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAwesome, thanks so much for sharing!
If you don’t want your background image to repeat like that, try setting the “Attachment” to “Fixed” and the size to “Cover” – you may like it ๐
Thanks again!

Tom uses MailChimp which can be used in conjunction with WordPress sites among other things. It is independent of WordPress.
If you want something integrated with WordPress and not stand alone like MailChimp then I would recommend MailPoet.
Either do a pretty nice job. I prefer MailPoet because i find it very easy to understand.
If you want to keep your database as small as possible then look at MailChimp.
Hope that helps.

As Garth mentioned, I’m personally using MailChimp. MailPoet is definitely a good idea if you want easy integration with WordPress ๐

With your help Tom, I have been able to achieve the transparency that I wanted.
My major site (background is the green wallpaper and the parchment along with the two framed pictures. I love the ability to have a bg image for the nav bar.
Period DramaMy personal site is mostly a practice site, but I achieved almost total transparency.
Genie BohnMy book site has a simple image as a background.
