Good morning from Germany!
I’m trying to validate the structurized data entries on my blog but I keep getting errors from Google’s Test-Tool.
I’m test this article as an example, but keep getting errors:
You can look up these errors by yourself here.
How can I fix these errors with GeneratePress?
GeneratePress 1.3.46GP Premium 1.2.96March 20, 2017 at 10:23 am #294829Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s strange, all of the correct data is there.
What version of GP are you using?
Can you try deactivating your caching/minifying plugin to see if it’s causing the issue?

I disabled “Async Javascript” and “Autoptimize”, there are no other minifying- or caching plugins installed.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperDo you have a plugin enabled that adds any schema related meta tags? It looks like something is telling Google that it’s an “Article” which has different requirements than “CreativeWork” which is what GP uses by default.

I can’t see any plugin that does that:
I suspected that The SEO Framework maybe does this, but I can’t find a setting related to this. Any ideas?

Only setting that I can find is this one:

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHard to tell as I can’t read German.
Can you try turning off all Schema.org related settings? GP takes care of it for you.

Not sure if this is possible with The SEO Framework – I have to contact the plugin developer then I guess.
EDIT: Seems to be the SEO Framework Plugin – after deactivating it, the test tool shows no errors… thank you for your support! ๐

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperNo problem – let me know if there’s anything I can do on my end to make sure you can continue using the plugin ๐
