Search Results no working

When I search for anything in the search bar it returns an unfiltered list of posts from latest to oldest. What am I missing for this set-up?

The search should work by default.
Can you disable all plugins except GP premium to eliminate any plugin conflicts?

I mentioned I have Jetpack installed because they have a search function. I disabled it but, was thinking you might have experienced this conflict with Jetpack.
