Page Header set up

Hi,
I installed a clean version of WP, I then installed the GP theme and plugins. After reading on the forum, I noticed that I also is unable to view the Site Library (and will check to see if I have PHP 5.6 from my hosting.
I have a query using the Page Header... I am trying to get a background that will be around 450 pixels in height and full-width and then to add an image in the center that is 1200px to just appear on one page, my home/front-page (which is the WP Sample Page).
However, I am unable to make it appear on just one page (as all I have is the WP sample page and I cannot see that page in Global Locations>Page, I created a new page and still was unable to see that in the drop-down selection. I created a new Page Header, called it Frontpage and added an image and tried to fill in a background image and had not success, but this does appear in the Global Locations>Page>Drop-down Selection.
Please could you explain how to have a background in full-width with am image in the center (so that it look formula across all browsers/sizes and I am also looking to make the body container 940px and for the widget-footer container to be 1200px with the black copyright container along the bottom to be full-width.
Thank you kindly.
Hi there,
You can use this plugin to check PHP version: https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-php-version/
Are you wanting content in the page header or just the image?
To make it full width, you have to set both container to full width here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/#container
However, you will need an image wider than 1200px as most monitor nowadays display at least 1920px so that would be the minimum.
Then you can select the page header you created in the layout metabox of that page: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/
Let me know if this helps or if you need more info :)
