mobile menu shows solid color...not the menu

I made a few changes to my menu background color, and must have made one too many. When I go to my mobile site at thecatholictravelguide.com instead of showing the menu it shows what appears to be a dark page. Probably added something I shouldn't have but not sure what. The menu on desktop is fine.
I am using the latest version of GP and GP Premium.
Hi Cristo Rey,
That’s the Off Canvas Menu. To enable or disable it, you can go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Off Canvas Panel.
As is, it’s only appearing as a “empty Black screen” since you may have no menu assigned to the Off Canvas Panel yet.
To add a menu to your Off Canvas Panel, go to Appearance > Customize > Menus. Then choose a menu and enable it for Off Canvas Menu. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uA74lO
Hope this clarifies!
Unfortunately I cannot get that to work. My mobile menu shows up with the background very dark and you can just barely see the menu items on the screen. I think it is something simple with color backgrounds that I am doing wrong.
I see. A menu is appearing now from my end.
You can modify the Off Canvas Panel colors through Appearance > Customize > Colors > Off Canvas Panel.
Hope this clarifies!
I have done that...but nothing changes. Still a solid dark background.
I am concerned that the more I mess with this the worse it gets....I accidentally added the hamburger menu to my main site menu and don't know how to get rid of it. Obviously I don't understand menus. So just waiting to hear from you.
Hi there,
go to Appearance > Menus.
Edit the menu you have set for your Primary Navgiation.
Under its Locations check the Primary Navigation AND the Off Canvas Panel.
Did that...still just a dark background on the mobile menu.
Go to Customizer > Colors, and there should be an option for the Off Canvas panel, set the link colors to White.
Thanks, David
When I try to do that it shows var(--base-3) as default. I try to change it to white color code but when I enter ffffff, the color code for white, it does not change anything. Is there something I have done that over=rides the selections I am trying to make.
Do you have a white color in your Global Colors ?
Yes, I do.
It looks like I have three: base 1, base2, base 3 all different shades of white. Did not mean to do that....trying to keep it simple but apparently got off track. Not sure which ones to delete so leaving them alone for now.
Can you provide me with a temporary admin login to your site ?
be happy to, but I need to find it. My computer just logs me in so I will have to contact my host to find out what it is.
