    hello,
I have a problem with my mobile menu, in the Google Search Console.
My menu is ok with my android smartphone, and the WordPress dashboard. But in the Google Search Console it’s a disaster.
Before taking your theme, I already had this problem (with the plugin “Max Mega Menu.” I installed your theme and put the CSS code for the Mega Menu. All works well (font size, spacing), except in the Google console, and penalize my SEO.

    Result in google search:
    Google Search Console

    Result “in real life”
    WP and Smartphone

I do not know how to fix the problem. All my pages and posts have this problem

    Thank you

    Willy

    Hi there,

Google Search and their Mobile Friendly will sometimes fail to load the necessary style sheets or javascripts, which results in the problem you’re seeing. This happens when there are multiple style sheets and scripts being loaded. The usual fix is to optimize the site, we provide some guidelines here:

For now test out the autoptimize plugin and settings we provide and let us know.

Thank you David for the answer.
    And the problem is: autoptimize.
I had it installed a long time ago. I changed the settings (a lot of testing! Very long!).
The one who disturbs (for me): “aggregate CSS files?“. Uncheck this. look at my screenshot, these settings are ok for me.

I lose 2 to 3% on the GTmetrix test, but Google Search Console is happy.
Before and after the new settings in autoptimize:

Thank you very much and see you latter in a new support topic 🙂

Glad to hear you found the solution. Yes aggregated files can mess up the order and it looks like google don’t like a big CSS file either.
