    Hi Tom

Nice little menu system…works well and is nice n lite. Just one question…

Instead of child items and grandchild items being drop down how can I make it slide from sub menu to sub menu (off canvas menu I think) on a mobile device?

    Thanks

    Hi

    https://www.drupal.org/project/responsive_menu

There is an animated gif showing how it works (looks like an ad though…so easy to over look)

    Thanks

    GP has a slide-out menu: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/activating-slide-out-navigation/

It’s not exactly like that, but it’s close.

    Hi

Thanks for coming back to me. Yeah I saw and it works great on the top level items. But it doesnt work when you have child and grandchild items. These are shown as drop down expanding/collapsing sub menus.

What I want is for the parent item to be clicked which then slides in to a new panel showing only child items (instead of the sub menu expanding), then when a child item is clicked it slides to a new panel to reveal the final grandchild items (instead of the sub menu expanding).

    Can it be done?

    Thanks

PS… you may have only seen the one mouse movement when you see it click an item and then click back. If you watch for a bit longer you will see it work as a child and grandchild slide in.

    Thanks

For now, you would have to use a plugin/custom solution for that: http://shiftnav.io

It’s something I might add in the future of GPP depending on the weight of the code.

Yeah saw that, but trying to reduce plugin use. Thanks for the suggestion though.
