I’ve done the 1st step and in process of the 2nd now.
My next question is how do I style it to look like the photo and then will I be able to add posts that mention the specific player on that players profile?
May 19, 2022 at 11:49 am #2225882HeathI must be lost because I completed step 1 and then ventured to step 2 and just put in the 1st headline with the player name but when I go to the test profile, it shows nothing.
May 19, 2022 at 3:41 pm #2226031YingStaffCustomer SupportPlease make sure you are using the correct meta field name, I don’t see any meta field called
Test
.

1. My question now is how do I make this all look similar to the photo including the player name on top with their number to the left? I want the bottom of the photo and the bottom of the grayed section with the attributes to be even.
2. Can I make it look like this on mobile as well?
May 19, 2022 at 6:34 pm #2226101YingStaffCustomer SupportThe layout can be built with Grid block with 2 containers.
So the structure would be like:
- Grid A (choose default as vertical alignment) -- Container A-1 (50% width with dynamic background image pulling the featured image) -- Container A-2 (50% width) --- Grid B ---- Container B-1 (40% width) ----- Headline (Static text: Nationality) ---- Container B-2 (60% width: headline block - Nationality) ----- Headline (dynamic post meta: nationality)
Just repeat Container B-1 and Container B-2 for other post meta.
May 19, 2022 at 7:09 pm #2226114HeathI’m sorry. What is in container A2?
May 19, 2022 at 7:12 pm #2226115HeathDo each of the Headlines in B need their own separate B1 and B2 containers? Right now I have all the headlines in the same containers.

May 20, 2022 at 1:57 pm #2227195HeathAll of y’alls help has been amazing!
1. How do I get the number beside the players name as shown in the screenshot?
2. How can I get the custom post fields beside the featured image across all devices as shown in the screenshot?
3. How do I make a player profile public where I can actually find it on the site?
May 20, 2022 at 2:21 pm #2227209YingStaffCustomer Support1. How do I get the number beside the players name as shown in the screenshot?
Do you have the custom field set for the number? if so, you can call it like the other post meta.
You can use the
inline width
option of theheadline
block, so 2 headline blocks (1 for name, 1 for number) can be on the same line.2. How can I get the custom post fields beside the featured image across all devices as shown in the screenshot?
Your featured image container width is set to 50%, the post meta container width is set to 55%, if you can set both width to 50%, they will be on the same row.
3. How do I make a player profile public where I can actually find it on the site?
It is public. Are you asking for a CPT archive page? On that page you can see all the player profiles? If so, you just need to choose
true
for archive in the CPT UI plugin. Then it will generate a CPT archive page.May 20, 2022 at 6:13 pm #2227275Heath1. I haven’t done yet.
2. I believe they are both set to 50% but according to my screenshot they aren’t side by side as they should be. The headlines with the post meta. https://ibb.co/FV9J4gm3. I was wanting a separate page for each player profile. Not all of them on one page.
May 22, 2022 at 12:21 am #2228187YingStaffCustomer Support2. Your screenshot shows the container is set to 100% width, NOT 50%.
https://imgbb.com/FV9J4gm3. Then you create more player profile like this one, it’s a custom post type, but adding them should be the same as adding posts.
May 22, 2022 at 8:17 am #2228652Heath2. I went back in and it does show 50% for each one and still isn’t showing side by side.
3. If I add it like a normal post….I don’t see any of the custom field options.
May 22, 2022 at 8:30 am #2228665Heath2. I fixed this. I don’t know what I was looking at but they were not set at 50%
May 22, 2022 at 8:37 am #2228673HeathI guess the main thing I need help with now is how do I get the profile image to the left of the box with the meta information as in the screenshot?
When I go into do a prime ad a normal post or doesn’t show any of the custom post type inputs. Not sure how to find the test post on the site without going through the backend.
