[Resolved] Is something like this possible to do for a player profile?

I’ve done the 1st step and in process of the 2nd now.

My next question is how do I style it to look like the photo and then will I be able to add posts that mention the specific player on that players profile?

I must be lost because I completed step 1 and then ventured to step 2 and just put in the 1st headline with the player name but when I go to the test profile, it shows nothing.

Please make sure you are using the correct meta field name, I don’t see any meta field called Test.

1. My question now is how do I make this all look similar to the photo including the player name on top with their number to the left? I want the bottom of the photo and the bottom of the grayed section with the attributes to be even.

The layout can be built with Grid block with 2 containers.

So the structure would be like:

- Grid A  (choose default as vertical alignment) 
  -- Container A-1 (50% width with dynamic background image pulling the featured image)
  -- Container A-2 (50% width)
    --- Grid B
       ---- Container B-1 (40% width)
           ----- Headline (Static text: Nationality)
       ---- Container B-2 (60% width: headline block - Nationality)
           ----- Headline (dynamic post meta: nationality)

Just repeat Container B-1 and Container B-2 for other post meta.

Do you have the custom field set for the number? if so, you can call it like the other post meta.

You can use theinline width option of the headlineblock, so 2 headline blocks (1 for name, 1 for number) can be on the same line.

Your featured image container width is set to 50%, the post meta container width is set to 55%, if you can set both width to 50%, they will be on the same row.

3. How do I make a player profile public where I can actually find it on the site?

It is public. Are you asking for a CPT archive page? On that page you can see all the player profiles? If so, you just need to choose truefor archive in the CPT UI plugin. Then it will generate a CPT archive page.

2. Your screenshot shows the container is set to 100% width, NOT 50%.

3. Then you create more player profile like this one, it’s a custom post type, but adding them should be the same as adding posts.

2. I went back in and it does show 50% for each one and still isn’t showing side by side.

When I go into do a prime ad a normal post or doesn’t show any of the custom post type inputs. Not sure how to find the test post on the site without going through the backend.
