After searching the forum for recent comments on this topic, it looks like people are able to use GeneratePress on WordPress.com, but are having some issues. I am about to build a site for a non-profit who wants the site to be as easy as possible to manage - given the turnover in volunteer staff. WordPress.com for Business has been a decent option for this scenario, in my experience. Ideal would be if I could use GeneratePress pro version in that environment. Do you have any advice on the best way to go about implenting GP in WordPress.com? Thank you.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I don't have any specific recommendation on this.

We are aware that the current site library import process doesn't work in wordpress.com.

However, we believe that the issue is fixed in the upcoming GPP 2.0.0 :)

You're killin' me. "Upcoming" as in...next few weeks? months?

We are hoping for Alpha this week :)

Great news. Great product. Thank you.

No problem :)

Leo, I see GPP 2.0.0 is out and the reviews are already good. Can you direct me to some general instructions on how to access it from WordPress.com? Thx.

Graçias.

You are welcome :)

Can I check please what the current situation is in 2022 for installing and using GeneratePress on wordpress.com? I couldn't find GP in the list of themes on WordPress.com.

Can you install and use GP on wordpress.com?
Can you install and use GP Pro there?
Can you import sites from the GP Site library?

Many thanks for your help.
Martin

Thank you Ying

No problem :)
