Hey Tom, I’ve been working with your theme and I want to disable the header on the blog. I have disabled it in the page attributes but it keeps showing up. What am I doing wrong?

I’m not a web programmer and this is my first site so I’m feeling pretty clunky right now! Any help would be great.

Here’s the page I’m trying to edit:

    Hi there,

Looks like you are using navigation as a header so follow the instruction here:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/#navigation-as-header

    Let me know.

Great! That fixed it. I had a header but decided I didn’t like the look/design. It’s hard for those of us who are design challenged to do stuff that looks good!

Can you tell me how I can expand the Green bar across the bottom to go full width while keeping the 3 footer widgets contained? Right now when I change the footer to full width, it spreads out the widgets

Sometimes I find it easier to find a design in other sites you like and just try to copy it 🙂

For the footer, try Customizer > Layout > Footer > Footer Width > Full
