[Support request] Header Element Sizing Issues

I’m having trouble with my hero image. The cropping and auto-sizing is a bit wonky and is cropping the image in ways I don’t want it to. What am I doing wrong?

I think I’ve found that if I set the image from Full Width to contained it does better. But I’m really wanting for that wide image look on my site. I still have my artist and want him to modify the image so that it can handle the different aspect ratios. Any ideas on the best image size for this hero?

Hi there,

if you want a hero background image to display full size then calculate the original images aspect ratio ( height divided by width ) e.g 56%.
Then set the total top and bottom padding to equal this. This will keep the image full size and responsive.
