Hi…I have been trying to get this to work. But its not installing the GTM first thing in GP. I can not verify property in search console because search console is giving me an error that GTM code is not in the right place. Analytics is working but search console is not. Google says the code needs to be immediately after the body tag. Please take a look at my site https://www.alldayweb.com Its installing the code in “Before Header” but it is not immediately after the body tag. I have to get search console verified and working with the tag. Please help.

Hi there,
The Google Analytics code should be in the wp_head hook.
The before_header hook is indeed immediately after the body tag.
