    Hi Tom,

I’ve successfully changed domains on a dev site to make it go live – the site now resides at http://leanalign.com.

Everything is working fine on the site except the Customiser. It keeps saying my session has expired. I log in again within the Customiser, but the same thing happens. I’ve also tried logging out of the site entirely and logging in again, but no success.

I couldn’t find this referenced in the forums. Any thoughts?

Thanks very much for your time.

    Hi there,

Sometimes WordPress does this if the cookie domain doesn’t match the domains set in “Settings > General”.

Can you make sure the two URLs set in there are identical, and that they match the URL you’re typing into your browser?

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Tom,

I looked, and the URLs were identical. But what you said gave me the idea of clearing cookies for that site. Now it works beautifully.

    Thanks!

It’s crazy, but I was looking at the wrong site when I just “fixed” the problem…

However when I came to my senses I did as you suggested Tom, and yes the URLs were different. Fixed that and now working perfectly.
