[Support request] Container wide

Hello,

is it possible, to make the container on homepage and archives wider, then the container on single posts and pages?
Because on homepage and archives, I want to put 3 posts side by side, but then the line lenght is to big, if the container is as wide as on these pages.

You would want to set the wider container with the customizer setting:

Then set the narrow container width for single posts and pages using a layout element:
