[Support request] Constantly Spinning – I can’t activate modules.

Is it ok if we make changes in the Dashboard with that site? It’s not a staging site, so we don’t want to make any changes without permission.

My guess here is that there’s some sort of server misconfiguration going on preventing our custom REST API route from working. It will likely need to be something your hosting support has to fix on their end. However, I’m happy to take a look and play with a couple settings in the dashboard if you’d like me to.

Hi there,

I tried changing the Permalinks setting to the default value (first option) and it seemed to fix the issue.

I changed it back to the value you had added.

Strangely, it wasn’t working with the normal “Postname” option, either.

This tells me something is up with the mod_rewrite module on your server. When permalinks are being altered, it’s breaking the REST API.

I would report this to your hosting so they’re able to debug internally.
