Broken Featured Image with WP Show Posts

Hey guys, I think I'm having the same issue as this thread:

The thread ends with Tom saying he will look into a fix, but I wonder what the state of that fix is because I ran into this issue this afternoon where deleting a featured image and then publishing a new one broke the image on the front page.

Have you tried set the image to another size?
