Wp Show Posts stopped showing featured images

Hi,
on my website i use WP Show Posts to display my work. I noticed that the most featurd images are broken here:
https://netzspinnerei.at/referenzen/
I tried deactivating all other plugins and also re-uploading the images - both did not change anything.
The img tag looks like this: <img />
Please help me find out why this has broken.
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi there,
very odd - do you have any custom functions in place?
Hi David,
no, not really...
Can you re-make the list in WP Show Posts and re-enter the shortcode?
I did that but it didnt change anything - a lot of images still broken.
Can you disable the JetPack plugin and flush any caches then let us take a look.
Jetpack is disabled, no caching active. Do you need login data?
You can send login details via the Account Isssue form:

Please add the URL of this topic to the form so we can track.
Ok, i did that!
Thanks,
Daniel
Are the images coming from a CDN or a different domain at all? It looks like something is conflicting with the image resizer. Usually, it's because the image isn't hosted locally.
Here's a workaround: https://wpshowposts.com/support/topic/show-posts-images-not-working/#post-8324
Hi Tom,
i thought of this too - but no - no cdn.
If you click on the missing image you are directed to the single post - the image is showing up there.
Inspired by your workaround i changed the size of the images from 800 to 750px. They are showing up now. When i change back to 800 they are gone again. I also regenerated the thumbnails.
That's super strange - I wonder if something became corrupt at that image size. What if you delete those sizes from your server in the wp-content/uploads folder?
I tried that and deleted all 800px-thumbnails. But whenever i set the size to 800px width in WP Show Posts no image shows up. I tried 805px and it worked. Very strange...
That's very strange. We're planning on scrapping the current image resizer completely as it has a few other bugs as well.
Yeah, that's probably a good idea.
Thanks for doing your best in solving this issue.
Best regards,
Daniel
