Hi, Have to say loving both generatepress pro and generateblocks pro!
Things are clean, which is very refreshing. I’ve been coding and designing for 20 years and have tried pretty much everything.
I’m still learning the ins and outs. Can you help direct me (please) to how I might configure a blog as a section on a home page with static urls by category (meaning they don’t change position).
Thank you for your help,

StaffCustomer SupportHi Tracy,
Not 100% sure what you are after but maybe the Query Loop block from GB is what you are looking for?

https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/dispatch-tutorial/#post-2178247Question:
Hey guys.I am curious about changing the hero grid so it stays static, or so I can choose which 4 posts go there instead of the 4 most recent posts.
I would create a custom category called hero grid and then only put the four posts into that category that I wanted to show on the home page.
Obviously, I can change published dates to create this effect but that seems wrong.
So how can I change the hero grid to show a category instead of the 4 most recent posts?
Answer:
Hi Lucas,The Posts in the Header are generated from a WP Show Posts List called Header: https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLuKdplq
Through editing the List, you can specify a specific category to display as such: https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruOnwpe
Hope this clarifies. 🙂

Hello there,
That’s for WP Show Posts plugin. For reference, WP Show Posts has already been merged with GenerateBlocks, and we highly advice our users to use GenerateBlocks Query Loop Block as shared by Leo above.
You can also choose a specific category to show in the Query Loop by adding a Parameter – Taxonomy – Category. Kindly check this section in the article: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/#query-parameters
