Tried to deactivate my email address and reactivate - but now it simply says unverified - and will not activate?

Cannot update plugins - which is why I tried to follow this thread..

Hi Tom, when you say 'deactivate/activate email' - I can't see an option for that when I go to 'Appearance - GeneratePress'. Can you point me in the right direction? Cheers, Nick

Emails no longer exist, we use license keys. In "Appearance > GeneratePress" you should see an area for license keys on the right side as long as GP Premium/one of the add-ons are activated.
