I found a fix, i recently contacted support and found out the problem was you need to deactivate your email under appearance > generatepress
Awesome, glad that deactivating and reactivating the email fixes this :)
I still can not make it work.
At GeneratePress c-panel, I can't even deactivate my email either.
The buttons (Deactivate and Refresh) do not do anything even if I clicked them. Nothing happens.
But the updated ones (Copuright and Typography) allow me to control "enable/or disable updates."
I've tried to deactivate & activate all the add-ons at plugins but I was still not able to upgrade them.
Anything else can I try?
That's bizarre.
Can you try manually re-installing the add-ons?
1. Download fresh copies from your account: https://generatepress.com/account
2. Delete the current copies from your installation
3. Upload and activate the fresh copies
If I did so, would I lose all the setting?
I hope not...
Definitely not - settings are stored in your database. Deleting/re-installing plugins doesn't touch the database (it's what happens when you do an update through your Dashboard).
It works!
Thank you again :)
You're welcome! :)
Unauthorize and authorize worked for me, might want to put the info somewhere easier to find! Thanks as always.
Thanks for confirming! Appreciate it :)
Okay, finally the re-installation made it work.
Thank you for your quick support! Your support is awesome!
Hopefully, the next upgrade won't give me a headache much.
Cheers!
deactivating/reactivating also worked for me :)
Thanks for the confirmations! :)
Basically, if your activated URL changes, you need to re-authorize.
If it doesn't change you won't have any troubles updating to future versions.
Thanks a lot. Now everything works fine.
Great to hear! :)
