Activated but not working

Hi - following Adam from wpcrafter LMS training.
Using generate press 1.4 parent and wpcrafter LMS child theme with elementor pro builder.
Was going okay - then decided to Upgraded to GP premium 1.5.4, put in key - accepted/approved.
Does not show import/export below items to activate, and on customizer no extra options shown.
If I turn off all lifter LMS plugins - will I lose the work there?
Only themes install is GP and Wpcrafter child.

thanks for replying, Adam of wpcrafter speaks so highly of you and the theme, so I opted to join.
I reloaded and, yes, I did activate/apply the settings after putting in my key.
Now, this time, I do see the import section below, I do also see now on the sidebar the GPP hooks, Pg Headers.
When I go to the customizer I still do not see the new items, like copyright etc.
Any further suggestions. The site is hidden under a maintenance page using the wpmanger plugin, but I can turn that off or give you login if needed too.

Copyright section is now in Layout > Footer: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/changing-the-copyright-message/
What else can't you find? Keep in mind that not each add-on has their specific panel in the customizer.
