Hi Tom,
I’m trying out Smart Slider, which looks brilliant but I’m having some problems enabling it. The section of the page where I want the slider to be viewed is blank. Do I need to have Page Headers activated?
The instructions say I need to put this in my template
echo do_shortcode('[smartslider3 slider=2]');which seems to suggest that I have to create a custom page template every time I use this shortcode because that is the code for the specific slider that I created.Charles

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Page headers shouldn’t be required to use Smart Slider but that’s generally where people insert it.
Can you link me to the site in question?
You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.
Let me know 🙂

At the moment it’s in localhost, but I’ve done some more experimentation, and whether I put the shortcode in Page Headers or in a page the result is the same – there is a blank space created on the page where the slideshow should be – but no slideshow. Here is the full console error list:

Maybe that’s a hint.
I have disabled all other plugins so it can’t be a plugin conflict.
