Hi Tom,
In mobile view (same issue also occurs on desktop with hamburger menu), opening the menu does not work (its as if the “Menu” link was dead), however only on the slide-out version (when scrolling down the site). When scrolled all the way up, the open menu function works.
The site is here: http://bartel-beratung.de/
Please help!
Thanks so much and all cheers

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Nice site!
It seems to be working for me? I tried on my phone and by reducing the size of my browser.
Did you find a fix?
Let me know 🙂

Hi Tom,
Thanks, been working on it a lot 🙂
The issue is still there, but only occurs when I have scrolled down the page. Could you try again by scrolling to the middle of the page and then opening the menu?
I have the issue on OSX, Windows, and iOS, in Safari, Firefox, Chrome.
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAhhh, try updating to the latest version of GeneratePress (1.3.23) and GP Premium (1.2.79).
That should fix it 🙂

Hi Tom,
My WP is telling me I am already running vers. 1.3.23.
What should I do?
Thanks!

But it is not giving me an option to update in the dashboard

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperTry updating manually: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/updating-add-ons/#manual-update
Then add your license key once you’ve updated manually and you should get future updates 🙂

Hi Tom,
That seems to have worked, thanks!!
Where do I input my product key to ensure future automatic updates?
Thanks!

While I have you on the line :-):
Is there a way for the menu to close/collapse automatically once a link has been clicked? I ask as the links in my menu all refer to the same page and it is a bit difficult in mobile view to have the whole menu open after the link has been clicked.
Thanks as always for your amazing support!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou can add your license key in “Appearance > GeneratePress” on the right side.
To close the mobile menu on click, try adding this code into the wp_footer hook in GP Hooks: https://gist.github.com/generatepress/6e122667d28cabd23582
Let me know 🙂

Hi Tom
the hook works but only partially, in the same way of the previous issue. It works only on the mobile menu when the page is initially loaded and scrolled all the way to the top. But if you access the menu halfway down the site it won’t trigger the close mechanism.
Thanks for any advice you could give.
Regards

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Calvin,
I updated the code at the URL I sent you.
Can you give it a try?
January 25, 2016 at 11:33 pm #168056Calvin
Hi Tom,
I am afraid that hansn’t changed it- it is as before where it works when the site is scrolled up all the way to the top but not midway. Thanks so much for all the fantastic support thusfar!
