Hi, I used this code here to get a different mobile menu than by using the primary menu on mobile.
I like this method because I can keep my primary menu small on desktop and change the mobile menu when on mobile.I used this method here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-a-different-menu-on-mobile/It works great except for the fact that when I click on a first level menu item it immediately goes to the webpage instead of displaying the second level drop down submenu.

Hi,
I tried on Chrome and Safari and it does not working correctly. With screen size less than 768, when I click on a (first level menu item) it shows the submenu but it also goes straight to the webpage with out allowing the choose a submenu item.
Any ideas.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you make sure the parent menu items are done like this?

Not good, Leo. If I wanted that I would have done it before bothering you.

StaffCustomer SupportIf you do want that menu to link somewhere, then the only solution is to use Click – Arrow instead of Click – Menu Item here:

This Mobile Menu here:
I used this method here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-a-different-menu-on-mobile/Does not seem to work so I just want to use the Primary menu and not Mobile Menu.
Thank You.

StaffCustomer SupportUnfortunately we don’t have a separate Navigation Dropdown option for desktop and mobile.
Can you try setting it to Click – Arrow first and see if everything works better?

I of course already tried all three options before discussing with you, Leo.

StaffCustomer SupportSo what is the issue with Click – Arrow?
November 19, 2020 at 8:45 pm #1538417David
what click arrow?
November 19, 2020 at 8:47 pm #1538420Leo
StaffCustomer SupportI’m referring to the option in the customizer.
So when you set the Navigation dropdown option to Click – Arrow, what is the issue there?
November 19, 2020 at 8:49 pm #1538421David
As I said I already tried all three options and the same result.

StaffCustomer SupportThey shouldn’t result in the same thing.
You can see how they are supposed to work here:
Is it currently set to Click – Arrow?
