I have the copyright add-on uploaded and it is showing as activated. When I try to add a custom copyright, I don’t see any button to “save” my changes. And, of course, they are not saved when I navigate away from the dashboard. Help!

    Hi Leslie,

Are you using the latest version 1.0.1?

    HI Tom.

No. It looks like I’m using Version 0.6 for the Copyright Add-on. There is a new message that just showed up on my WP Plug-in dashboard that says that there is a version 0.7 available. Can I update the Add-ons = using the WP plug-in update option or do I have to download the new = versions from your website and upload them?

I’m using Version 1.3.03 of the GeneratePress theme.

    Thank you.

    Leslie

There was an issue with the standalone Copyright add-on where it won’t do Dashboard updates to the latest version – was a mistake on my part.

So for this update, you’ll want to download the fresh .zip file, and delete the existing plugin – then re-upload the fresh .zip.

From then on, you’ll be able to do the updates via the Dashboard.

Let me know if you have any questions πŸ™‚

    Thanks, Tom.

I see that the other Add-ons also have updates. Can those be done through the WP dashboard or do I need to go through the same process for all of them?

Hi Tom… First Great job on the Theme. I have all the add-ons and all seem to work fine except Copyright. I need to make a correction but it wont save it. I deactivated the plugin and reactivated it with no luck. Also Footer Widgets don’t work. Can you Help?

    Regards,
    Sal

You’ll have to download a fresh copy of the Copyright add-on, then delete the current plugin, and upload the new one – a save button should appear in the newest version.

What about the footer widgets don’t work? Have you reviewed this page?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/choosing-footer-widgets/

Hi, now I am going to sound like a Complete moron – but I have the same issue – how do I actually download a fresh copy of the Copyright Add-On? Should I re-purchase the Add-On or is there some other way I have not managed to figre out? πŸ™‚

    Hi there,

Did you create an account when you purchased? If so, you can login to your account to download it: https://generatepress.com/account

If not, email me at support@generatepress.com with the email you purchased it with and I’ll send you the latest version πŸ™‚

    Thanks!

Aaah, so that was the explanation! Actually did not remember making an account, but some searching in my inbox shows that I actually did. So have managed to download the zip file! Thanks a million for the help! πŸ™‚

    Hi Tom,

I’m having the same “no save button” issue with the Copyright add-on. However I’m using Copyright as part of a GP Premium install. I don’t see Copyright listed individually in my WordPress Plugins screen. I only have the full GP Premium listed there.

What’s the recommended way to update my Copyright add-on in this scenario?

    TY
    Art
