I have the copyright add-on uploaded and it is showing as activated. When I try to add a custom copyright, I don’t see any button to “save” my changes. And, of course, they are not saved when I navigate away from the dashboard. Help!June 30, 2015 at 10:19 am #117671TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperJune 30, 2015 at 10:37 am #117692Leslie Stafford
No. It looks like I’m using Version 0.6 for the Copyright Add-on. There is a new message that just showed up on my WP Plug-in dashboard that says that there is a version 0.7 available. Can I update the Add-ons = using the WP plug-in update option or do I have to download the new = versions from your website and upload them?
I’m using Version 1.3.03 of the GeneratePress theme.

There was an issue with the standalone Copyright add-on where it won’t do Dashboard updates to the latest version – was a mistake on my part.
So for this update, you’ll want to download the fresh .zip file, and delete the existing plugin – then re-upload the fresh .zip.
From then on, you’ll be able to do the updates via the Dashboard.
Let me know if you have any questions 🙂June 30, 2015 at 11:51 am #117708Leslie Stafford
I see that the other Add-ons also have updates. Can those be done through the WP dashboard or do I need to go through the same process for all of them?June 30, 2015 at 12:49 pm #117745TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperJune 30, 2015 at 1:22 pm #117761Leslie Stafford
Thank you. I’ve already updated Copyright and it’s working just fine.June 30, 2015 at 1:57 pm #117777TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperJuly 6, 2015 at 11:44 am #119013Salvatorie
Hi Tom… First Great job on the Theme. I have all the add-ons and all seem to work fine except Copyright. I need to make a correction but it wont save it. I deactivated the plugin and reactivated it with no luck. Also Footer Widgets don’t work. Can you Help?

You’ll have to download a fresh copy of the Copyright add-on, then delete the current plugin, and upload the new one – a save button should appear in the newest version.
What about the footer widgets don’t work? Have you reviewed this page?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/choosing-footer-widgets/July 13, 2015 at 4:54 am #120592Mari
Hi, now I am going to sound like a Complete moron – but I have the same issue – how do I actually download a fresh copy of the Copyright Add-On? Should I re-purchase the Add-On or is there some other way I have not managed to figre out? 🙂July 13, 2015 at 9:32 am #120676TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Did you create an account when you purchased? If so, you can login to your account to download it: https://generatepress.com/account
If not, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the email you purchased it with and I’ll send you the latest version 🙂
Thanks!July 13, 2015 at 9:44 am #120688Mari Elken
Aaah, so that was the explanation! Actually did not remember making an account, but some searching in my inbox shows that I actually did. So have managed to download the zip file! Thanks a million for the help! 🙂July 13, 2015 at 9:44 am #120689TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperJuly 21, 2015 at 8:04 am #122649Art Cigoy
I’m having the same “no save button” issue with the Copyright add-on. However I’m using Copyright as part of a GP Premium install. I don’t see Copyright listed individually in my WordPress Plugins screen. I only have the full GP Premium listed there.
What’s the recommended way to update my Copyright add-on in this scenario?
