Is this a required update?
If so, since it’s not showing up in my update panel, how exactly do I update this?
Thanks!
It is required, WordPress.org just hasn’t reviewed it yet to push it out as live.
You can either wait for them to do that, or you can replace the files found in “wp-content/themes/generatepress” with the new files you can download from the post above.
Let me know if you need more info π
Also I thought I was on the mailing list for this blog.
I tried subscribing just now and it said I was on it but I didn’t get this post.
I just happened to see a tweet or I wouldn’t have known.
Maybe it goes out later today?
This blog doesn’t have a mailing list, but it should.
You can subscribe to the RSS feed: https://generatepress.com/feed
Otherwise I’ll get a mailing list set up for it ASAP.
Thanks. I’ll wait on the push if it’s not security-related and subscribe to the feed.
New version has been approved π
Thanks for this release
You’re welcome π
I down loaded this update, but when I try and upload it via the add new plugin, it says it could not install as there is no valid plugin. Can you please gently nudge me in the right direction?
Thanks
This is a theme update, so you can update by going to “Appearance > Themes”. Then click on the “GeneratePress” screenshot, and click the “update now” link.
