WP Show Posts to include images

Hi Tom,
I just noticed an additional problem. If a user is reading a post and then clicks on the "News Stories" link listed in the categories widget, they are then shown all the posts and scroll down through them. But in that view, the featured image still shows up. That means they see the image twice; as the featured image and also as the regular image added into the post.
Here's the link: https://arlinstitute.org/category/news-stories
Can I hide the featured image on this view too?
As a reminder, I'm using the feature image only to get a thumbnail to show on the wp show posts page (found here: https://arlinstitute.org/news-home)
Thanks,
Steig
In this case you've added the "featured image" into the content of the post.
Do you do this in all of your posts? If so, you can hide it from the blog index/archives/categories in "Blog > Post Images".
that provided the right change. Thanks!
You're welcome :)
Hi,
I don't realy want to hijack this thread but I thought my question is a little related to the title of this thread and decided to post my question here.
My question is would it be possible to make wp show posts to show first content image rather than featured image? Or does the pro version of the plugin have such option? I need this because recently I have been converting joomla sites to wordpress and they all have images as first content image and editing hundreds of posts is a little time consuming.
Thanks
A plugin like this might be useful: https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-featured-images/
Editing a line or two in wp show posts to display first content image was what I was dreaming about however if that is not possible then your suggestion will do. Many thanks for quick reply.
No problem :)
