    Hello Generatepress Team,

Pls check the private box link, can you pls tell is it possible to have a custom thank you page like you can see on top we have that elementor checkout page design things are shown even on thank you page, we would like to use generatepress hook or anything possible to have our own custom thank you page which we will build using generatepress + elementor same like how we have made out cart and checkout page.

    Hi there,

The theme doesn’t have any control over the appearance of the WooCommerce thank you page so I would recommend checking with either WooCommerce or Elementor’s support team on how this can be achieved.

GP wouldn’t have the ability to create any hook within WooCommerce as well.

The WooCommerce hooks you see in the GP’s elements are all coming from WooCommerce directly:

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Hey Leo,

Yes, I have also emailed their support, btw can generate press have any hook to disable elementor on certain URL?

Pls see the private box link, I would like Elementor to be disabled there as its showing checkout page data on that page, If your team can suggest how can we add like that custom data then it will be great, is there any css via which we can add a class in elementor section and make it just visible on certain URL, that will do the job we think.

No. That’s not a functionality of a hook:

What does generatepress recommend if we want to customise the checkout and thank you page?

GP doesn’t have any specific recommendations on this as it’s not related to themes.

You should see lots of recommendations and results if you just Google “customize woocommerce checkout page” and “customize woocommerce thank you page”

    Hey Leo,

Yes we can see plugins which do it, but we were wondering if it was possible to do without those plugins, there is a very famous cart flows plugin which does it, but thing is in their demo things look different while when we activate it, seems generate press theme styling is affecting its styling.

That’s not actually what I was referring to. There should be lots of articles on how to do without plugins as well 🙂

Take a look at this page from WooCommerce’ website:
    https://woocommerce.com/posts/customize-woocommerce-thank-you-confirmation-page/

The “Create a custom WooCommerce thank you page manually” might be what you are interested in.

Oh got it, but to be honest thank you page is not really an issue, the issue, see the private box

As you can see on cart page, checkout page and order complete page we have made those icons in elementor.

So, since thank you page by default is as you can see in the URL checkout/order-received

so since checkout page is customised with elementor its applying the same on even it sub pages, if there was a css code to hide that based on url then it will do the job totally.

We could make thank you page content and put it just to be visible on thank you page those elements and do the same for checkout page elements.

This is something you will need to check with Elementor’s support.

also leaving elementor on side is it possible to show custom html data on thank you or checkout page using generatpress hook or conditions etc?

Hmm this is a similar question you’ve asked above and I’ve already explained it in these replies:

I’ve also just reviewed all the topics you’ve opened and a lot of them are out of the scope of this support forum – especially the ones related to WooCommerce and Elementor.

Please take a look at what we can support in the forum here:

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
