Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperNo problem! WP should update those translations automatically, but sometimes they don’t for some reason.
Absolutely, anyone can contribute and it’s always hugely appreciated ๐

Hello Tom
I see that the danish translation is at 95% – I love your theme and its annoying that I can’t change the language into danish. How can I help with the last 3 awaiting parts?
EDIT: I’ve translated the last missing 9-10 pieces and its all done. How do we get it approved?

Hey Tom
How about the premium translations? Are those done at wordpress.org aswell? Are they translated to danish? ๐
October 9, 2016 at 9:54 am #233809Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Michael,
Those are done using a program like Poedit. You’ll find .pot files inside each add-on folder in the languages folder which can be used to translate the add-on.
Let me know if you need more info ๐

I’ve translated and verified the translations on wordpress.org – the danish translation is now at 100% according to the dashboard. So its just waiting a few hours and it will be updated? ๐

Youre welcome ๐
are there really only about 20 lines to translate in the premium .po?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m afraid not.. Each add-on folder has a languages folder inside of it.

Ahh okay, ill get them translated then. In the meantime, the main installation hasnt updated the language, even though its at 100% on wordpress.org :/

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou might have to go to “Dashboard > Updates” and click the Update Translations button.

There aren’t any updates available :/

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s very strange. What if you manually add the files (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/generatepress/language-packs) to the
wp-content/languages/themesfolder? -
