website layout problem - width

Dear
I am having a problem and whenever I try to solve it, I end up with a mess. I am using Beaver builder to make the layout.
I try to fix the width to 980px (customiser- layout - container) but only the header and footer are the width. The body is always wider. I can't see why.
I will try to add a layout so you can the aim. It's very important the images and video's are perfectly aligned.

One of the problems I have is that a row with 3 equal images does not align perfectly with a row with 2 pictures (one 2/3 and another 1/3)
