Updating GeneratePress

Hello, my licence was expired and I didn't notice it. My site was working but yesterday, when I did a Wordpress update, I had have several problems. So 10 minutes ago I realized that maybe the licence was expired... Yes it was! So I payed for a new year but I'm still not able to update my GeneratePress.
What's the problem? Should I wait some minutes/hours more? Shoul I download the theme once again, even if my theme was working well till yesterday?
I'm using Wordpress 5.0.3

Hi there,
Your premium plugin should continue to work even if the license was expired so I don't think the problems are coming from GP.
What do you mean you are still unable to update GP Premium? Are you getting one of these errors here?

That's the message I'm receiving while updating: "Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized"
My theme is apparently working but since yesterday any submenu is working.

Yes and no.... I tryed to go to Appearence/GeneratePress, but I don't find any butto "Save" nor any button/link about the licence

OK, I did it. I used the easy way. I uploaded the plugin, I set once again the licence number and... nothing changed.

Uhm... I payed for the licence a couple of hours ago. My idea was to buy the latest version of GP, not the latest free plugin.
The real problem is following: if you take a look to the site http://www.canoa.ch, at the main menu, you see for example the second item "attività". It should have 3 children called "attività" (once again), "calendario" and "corsi". But if I click on the main menu I can't reach the children. This since yesterday (or at least I noticed it yesterday).
This is the reason because I'm looking for help, and "nothing changed" refers to this problem.
I'm not just talking about the free theme.
Can you please confirm that both the free theme and premium plugin are up to date first?

The free theme is the 2.2.1 one. It should be the last one. I uploaded the latest plugin 1 hour ago. I'm still not able to do automatic updates because I get the meassage "Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized". Sorry I checked it several times!!!! And this problem happens only with GP. Every other update is working.
Now because of the jet leg, it is the time for me to sleep. I'm going to check the mail tomorrow in the morning, hoping that you finally give me a concrete help. Sorry if I loose my patience but I have the sensation to be still at the start point.
