Hi there,

The problem in the topic you linked is can not update GP elements, I tried on your site, and it works fine.

In your case, it’s the WP core post type can not be updated, so I don’t think they are the same issue.

Can you try disabling all your plugins to eliminate conflicts first?

However, I see /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php _fs_blog_admin=true 403 in my errors when I inspect my site via the browser.

When you disable all plugins, can the posts be updated?

I am able to update posts even without disabling, but I need to save a couple of times.

However, this issue does not allow PostX block plugin to render well on my post pages and the Nestpages plugin is not working.

In that case, it means the issue is not caused by GP theme.

It might be plugins conflicting with each other.

You need to do more debugging tests with deactivating/activating plugins to identify where the conflicts come from.

I finally discovered that my Ad placement plugin was what was conflicting with my nestedpages plusgin. So, that is completely fixed.

However, PostX is still not working well, and I still get the Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response when I am saving.

Honestly, I started getting this Updating failed. The response was not a valid JSON response when I moved to use the Generatepress theme.

We’ve seen this issue from time to time, but none of them is caused by the theme, not that I can recall.

Aside from plugin conflicts, another common cause for this kind of problem is related to the Permalinks.

You can try rebuilding permalinks, go to Settings > Permalinks, then click Save Changes.

Also if you have changed the Permalink structure, try reverting this to the default settings.
