Unable to instal gp-premium

Hi,
I've installed gb premium into a plugins by this article: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium/

However I got stuck when "Activate your add-ons . Now navigate to “Appearance > GeneratePress”" ... I don't see GP under appearance.

I also tried to go to plugins. I can see there a link "The entire bundle of GeneratePress add-ons. Configure add-ons by going to Appearance > GeneratePress." If I click on it it would tell me "You don't have a permission to use this page"

Please advice what I'm doing wrong.

The free theme itself needs to be installed and activated as well: https://generatepress.com/install-generatepress/
