[Resolved] Theme rename & child theme questions

Hi,
For my branding purposes, I’d like to rename GP to my brand name, ie under themes folder, I’d like to see my brand name. How can I achieve this?

And if that’s something possible, I’m not sure should I continue using a child theme? I am not using style.css that comes with child theme, I always use “Additional CSS” in the customize. However I add custom php functions to child theme’s functions.php.

I need your guidance.

Hi there,

you cannot change the name of the Theme. Doing so would mean it could no longer receive updates.

By renaming theme I mean changing only the name of installed folder under /themes.

Is it still not possible?

not a very big deal for me, but it is nice ho have.

so, currently you say it’s not possible!
