Hi There,
I found some information about creating subtitles with Elements on your support page, but I don’t understand how to manage the following.
On my product page I would like to have a subtitle under the product title. How do I get this done?
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
you need somewhere in the editor to store your ‘subtitle’ – are you using the ACF ( Advanced Custom Fields ) plugin ? As that would allow you to add a field for your subtitle.

Hi David,
I just did insall the free version of it. Is that sufficient?

StaffCustomer SupportThe Free version is fine i believe it works with Woo.
Try it – add a new field for your subtitle and assign it to the Woocommerce products – if you can see the filed there then let us know 🙂April 7, 2022 at 8:33 am #2181237hans_grif
Hi David,
I see the field on the product page but can’t enter anything.

StaffCustomer SupportWeird, i just tested. I did:
1. ACF – created a New Field Group and titled it: Woocommerce
2. Set the Location Rules: Show this field group if > Post equal to Product.
3. Added a New Field.
Field Label: Subtitle
Field Name: subtitle
Field Type: Text
4. Published that.April 7, 2022 at 10:28 am #2181344hans_grif

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Setting the custom field is the first step. Then you need to do this:
Follow the screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/Etc5ZWXy1. Go to appearance > elements, create a new block element.
2. Add a
headlineblock from GenerateBlocks, click the dynamic option button, setpost metaas the dynamic text type, enter ‘subtitle’ as the Meta field name.3. Select hook as element type, enter ‘woocommerce_single_product_summary’ as hook name.
4. Set the priority to
8, so that the subtitle appear between the title and price.5. Select products > all products as location.
Let me know 🙂

Hi David and/or Ling,
I did as you told me, but still no subtitle showing on my shop page.

StaffCustomer SupportIn ACF what is the Field Name you set ?
April 8, 2022 at 2:13 am #2181853hans_grif
Hi David,
The field name is: subtitle
To be clear. I want only a subtitle on my shop page: https://shop.grifontwerp.nl/ Not on the single product page.
Thanks so far.
