Slow site

Hello Support at GP !
I created a new site:
WP + GP + GP Premium.
I exported/imported my Customizer settings.
Everything went well.
However, the site is extremely slow.
My hosting company suggested checking plugins.
I did that.
And they suggested checking the theme.
Perhaps I did the Customizer export/import wrong.
Please see the new site:
discuss-culture.com
Thanks !
John
Hi there,
go to Settings > Permalinks and click save changes - this will regenerate the permalinks as currently i notice all inner links are going to /index.php/the-page which isn't normal....
Thanks, David.
That quickened things up.
But still rather slow.
Dip in with my Admin-credentials
if you want to:
If you deactivate all the Plugins is there still a noticeable delay?
Let me try that, David.
If nothing changes then temporarily switch the Theme to one of the Twenty something themes.
And try again .... if still an issue then we can eliminate it being a theme or plugin issue.
Next step after that is to check the PHP memory allocation on the server.
I checked your Sites --> Tools > Site Health --> Info --> Server tab and it doesn't state what the memory is.
Somewhat faster, but nowhere near
as fast as
understand-culture.com
johnottomagee.com
. . . and the plugins on discuss-culture.com
are the sam as on
understand-culture.com
johnottomagee.com

Could the problem reside
in the Simple Custom CSS
that I imported over from
understand-culture.com ?
CSS won't affect it.
Switch themes temporarily to one of the Twenty something themes and test it again.
If still an issue ask your host to check the PHP Memory allocation
Sorry for the overlap.
I'll try what you suggest on

Problem resolved.
I simply resest WP and GP.
Thanks, David !
Glad to hear that!!
