Sidebar on Home is not below header

I can only deactivate elements in gp premium after i activate the gp premium plugin itself.
Yup that's what you have to do as I mentioned above:
Now activate GP Premium again but disable the element module first:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium/#activate-your-modules
Let me know if I'm misunderstanding something here :)
My frustration is that you said to deactivate the element module before activating GP premium:
"Now activate GP Premium again but disable the element module first:"
This is not possible - with GP Premium deactivated, I have no access to deactivate the element module prior to reactivating GP Premium. I can only reactivate GP Premium, which activates all the modules, then go in and deactivate the element module. I have done this.
It appears that the header works without the GP Premium. What is the next step in the debug process?
Thanks, Peter
Thanks for bearing with me.
Now can you:
- Activate GP Premium plugin.
- Go go Appearance > Elements and find a header element that's assigned to the front page, and deaactivate that element?
If you aren't sure which one it is, I can take a screenshot for you if you provide the login access.
Let me know :)
So GP Premium is activated/was activated when you last replied. If I go to Appearance, there is no Elements sub menu. Do you want me to activate GP Premium Elements in Appearance -> GP Premium?
We could probably go through this debug a great deal faster if we could do a screen share. is that possible?

Sorry - Yes please :)

Unfortunately not.
ok, GP Premium Elements is activated. Next step?
These are the items in Appearance - Elements
Try disabling the Home Page Header.
You can hover over the element name, click quick edit, then set it to draft.
Done. Next step?
The sidebar is still in the correct position that's good news again.
Now activate your other plugins one by one and see if the issue shows again.
Ok, all of them are activated one by one, and checked one by one. When GenerateBlocks is activated, the page hero header block is below the menu bar and the side bar is beside it. It's the same position everything was with all the other plugins deactivated, the only difference is now you see the background image behind the image of me, the headline and the button.
Ahh ok I see the issue here.
It's not possible to move the sidebar below the first section from GenerateBlocks.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Create a new block element with this content here:
https://www.screencast.com/t/8PpEa2Yo9
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/
2. Under Block Type, choose Hook. Then under Hook, choose generate_after_header.
3. Then remove that section from the actual home page content.
