[Resolved] Sections VS Generate Blocks

GenerateBlocks is supposed to replace Sections.

You can use GB to do anything that Sections can do and much more.

Ah, okay thanks 🙂 That was what I thought. I just got confused since you still list “Sections”, and not “GenerateBlocks”, under the items you get with premium:

That’s because GB is a separate plugin that would work with any themes 🙂

Is there already a Generateblocks block that mimics a section with parallax-effect of the background image? I have a page with sections and created columns with LightweightGridColumns. Can I replace LWGC and the sections with GenerateBlocks ?

Not at this time. However, you can easily implement your own parallax script and target a custom class with it that you can then add to your Container blocks 🙂
