    Hi,

    GP: 3.0.2
    GP Premium: 1.12.2
    Yoast: 15.1.1

Today I discovered with Yoast enabled I can no longer view sections from the editor.

The site continues to function absolutely fine from a front end point of view, all the content is visible and as it should be, but when I go to edit the page there is nothing listed under sections. Ticking and un-ticking use sections made no difference. Placing my CDN in development mode also made no difference.

After stumbling across this thread: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/sections-previously-defined-have-disappeared-from-page-editor/ I tried disabling Yoast as a punt, and the sections immediately re-appeared in the page editor.

Is this something you’re aware of and have a fix on the horizon for / can I provide you with any further debugging information?

    Thanks!

Hi – thanks for getting back to me!

    Unfortunately that doesn’t help:

    With Yoast disabled
    With Yoast enabled

In the second screenshot you can see both boxes are ticked, that were suggested in the other answer.

Did you try reloading the page?

    Entirely my fault!

To cut a long story short I store my WordPress in GitHub, and have vendor/ on my .gitignore. I recently had to restore from the version in git, meaning I had to manually re-add the vendor folders for all my plugins.

Turns out I didn’t realise there’s a vendor folder in wp-include/js/dist which was missing from my live site, breaking the Yoast rendering.

    Closed, user error…

    Glad to hear.

    Thanks for reporting back!
