    WP 5.0.2.
    Disable Gutenberg plugin is active

TinyMCE worked perfectly until recent update. Can’t say whether it is the WP or GP update, that caused the following flaw.

Now tinyMCE shows up correctly when editing pages & posts, but not when using sections.
Then buttons show up only partly – for example justify button, or select field font-size are missing. The tinyMCE editor drop-down menus are working, but this is an annoying solution. Have a lot of text-align:justify and with the drop-down menus it needs 3 clicks until done.

    Hi there,

Are you using a plugin to extend TinyMCE? Something like TinyMCE Advanced?

There’s a known issue right now with Sections and TinyMCE Advanced: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/gp-premium-version-1-7-6-not-working-with-classic-editor-sections/

    We’re working on a solution πŸ™‚

    Great.
Support continues to be awesome. On a weekend response time less than 60min – you definitely beat all records!
    I’m truly impressed.

I have a branch of GPP which should have this fixed. If you want to give it a try (I’d appreciate it), shoot me an email: https://generatepress.com/contact

    Hi Tom,

I updated to GP Premium 1.7.8.
Also Tiny MCE got an update to v5.1.0.

Unfortunately the previous fix is gone – for example the “text-align:justify” doesn’t appear, when using sections. Cache was cleared.

    Hi there,

1.7.8 was pushed out solely to fix an issue that will effect Elementor 2.5 users. For the time being if you can re-install the file that Tom provided.

    ok.
Would be good if the fix is included in updates.

We’re still testing the Section fix planned for the next major update. So will be coming soon.

Started a new website and will still use sections together with the Classic editor.
    GP Theme is v2.4.1
    GP Premium is v1.7.7

    Gutenberg is completely disabled.

When using Sections, TinyMCE advanced will not show the icons of external plugins. When switching off sections, then the icons show up.

I have other websites with the same plugins and there is not that issue.
    What am I missing?

Can you try updating to the latest GP Premium?

    Peter

    Yep. Now it works. Thanks.
There was no notification about an available update in the list of plugins.

When will the Gutenberg Section block be available?
