Remote update via Mainwp not working

Hi,
I maintain most customer sites via Mainwp. Usually, this works great. But I have one site where the remote update of Generatepress is simply not working. Updating from the WP dashboard is working. I don't need the premium version for this site. So, the license key could not be the problem. All customer sites are installed on the same server and have identical configurations. Do you have any idea what might cause the problem or how I could troubleshoot the issue?

To confirm, are you having issues updating GeneratePress theme or GeneratePress Premium plugin?
Can you check if there’s an error log or message when you try to update? Kindly check from the console log as well.

thank you very much for the immediate reply. It's just the GeneratePress theme, and just this single site. Mainwp shows the available update but does not update. This is strange, since the configuration of the other GeneratePress sites is pretty much the same. I will escalate this to the Mainwp support. Maybe, they offer some advanced error logging for this case. It is very unlikely that the theme itself is the problem, since this is a standard procedure connecting to the WordPress repository.
Will keep you posted if I get some useful information.

As a side note, here is one instance where there reason for the theme not updating was a cURL error 51 which was fixed by the hosting provider: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/i-cant-update-theme/

I've just found the cause of the issue. I run a snippet that prevents the other users from seeing any updates. It is my job to maintain the sites, and I don't wan't them to do anything, well, not so clever. :-)
I maintain 20+ Generatepress sites with this very same snippet with no problems at all. But on this specific site it does somehow interfere with Mainwp.
While I don't fully understand what's going on, at least I know how to fix it.
