MainWP Not Picking up Latest GPP

Any ideas why MainWP is not picking up the latest GPP plugin update? I was able to use MainWP to update all plugins on all sites except for GPP. Do we need to enable something?

Hi there,

Same problem over here: MainWP does not detect latest version of GPP.

Contacted the people of MainWP, they ran some tests to see what happens. Here's the short summary.

When you go to wp-admin of a MainWP child site (or any other site) that runs an older version of GPP, no GPP update is detected.
But when you go to wp-admin > updates, where WP Core triggers check for available updates, then the update shows up.
So now after WP detecting the GPP update and syncing the site with MainWP, the GPP update shows up in MainWP too.

Could it be that the way GPP publishes new versions has changed in a new GPP version? It seems that GPP update checking is only done when you go to wp-admin > updates.

Hi there,

Nothing has changed when it comes to our updater recently. We update the EDD software licensing class when an update is available, but nothing else has changed.

My guess is that something may have changed in MainWP when it comes to compatibility with the EDD Software Licensing plugin.
