I called the GoDaddy people again, and one of the things another guy there tried was to flush the cache under the "Managed Wordpress" area and oddly enough, doing that simple thing fixed the menu issue!! If you look at the webpage now, you should see the down carat and when going to the console area, all the errors are gone! :-)

But now, I'm noticing a whole new issue entirely...Every time I make an update to the webpage, the ONLY way for that change to be reflected on the live website is to flush the cache. I'm not sure why I need to do this, but every time I change something, that's the only way to "push" the website changes through.

I don't have any "caching" plug ins that I'm using that I know of. Does the GP theme have any sort of cache settings that it's using?

GP doesn't have any built-in cache.

There is no Managed WordPress area in the default WordPress install either.

Quick research suggests that it's coming from GoDaddy:

Maybe you could ask them to disable it for you?

Okay, thanks for confirming that GP doesn't have any built-in cache as well as the clarification on the "Managed WordPress". That makes sense now that THAT part of it is GoDaddy.

Anyway, was searching through my plugins and saw that there was actually 1 "Drop-in" plugin that I didn't even know was there.

It is "object-cache.php APCu Object Cache" by Pierre Schmitz. I looked at the plugin website for it, https://wordpress.org/plugins/apcu/, saw that the plugin has been closed since September 2019. The reviews from June 26, 2019 and February 22, 2019 were very interesting!

I don't know if this plugin actually is causing my problem with always having to flush my cache or not any time I make a change. But maybe it is.

It could be for sure.

A good idea is to disable all caching during development and activate it once you are done making changes.
