I don't know what is going on. I have disabled the maintenance mode and I don't know why it's still being enabled.

Do you know of any problems between Generate Press and the "Maintenance Mode Lite" plugin by SeedProd?

Okay, I just deactivated the whole maintenance mode plugin, hopefully you should be able to see it now.

As I was going through and messing around with the customizer, I think I may have stumbled across what might have fixed it. I found that when I chose to use "SVG" instead of Icon Fonts, that it fixed it. Now, it is possible to see the down-ward pointing carat on the Services menu.

From your experience, can you just comment on why that would be the thing that works? Is there anything else that I should be aware of in regards to using SVG instead of Icon Fonts?

The icon thing is caused by these errors here:

Which means that some part of your website is still being served from http instead of https.

I assume you recently did SSL certification?

Anyways, SVG icon should be the way to go for new install :)

Morning Leo, thank you for sending over that screenshot. I don't have any idea what any of that means.

I started out first with purchasing just the domain name through GoDaddy. Maybe a few days later, I then purchased their website builder package. But I never used their website builder and didn't publish the site. Then, last Friday, I did actually purchase the WordPress Hosting through GoDaddy instead of using their website builder.

At one point, I THINK I remember seeing, maybe when it was the website builder, that it might have only been http, not https. The only reason why I remember is because I think I was expecting to see it thinking I had the SSL, and didn't.

But for their WordPress hosting package now, I should have the SSL. When I go to the site, it does.

Anyway, long stories short, what do I need to do to fix this???

Usually your host can fix that for you.

Switching to SVG option as the link above should also work. Have you tried that?

I did try the SVG option and it worked. But then it seemed to cause the website to take more time to load and I don't hardly have any content there.

It really shouldn’t cause more time to load. In fact SVG should be the better option which is why we suggested it for new installs.

Hi Leo,

The GoDaddy people had no clue what the issue is and that all they can do is pass things to their development team to charge me $100 to fix this one single issue. I don't understand why so many other themes I was trying worked just fine but the Generate Press theme does not. Is there anything else you can do to help get this fixed?
